Associate Principal, St Cuthbert’s College

St Cuthbert’s College is a leading independent girls’ school with an international reputation for quality teaching and learning. The Associate Principal will work closely with the Principal to leverage current practices and further enhance student and staff experiences throughout the school.

  • Demonstrated understanding of the NZ curriculum, pedagogy and familiarity with the IB
  • Outstanding leadership capability and ability to execute strategy, whilst assisting with the creation of an engaged and inspiring culture
  • Proven competence and achievement in building effective relationship and stakeholder engagement
  • Advanced tertiary qualifications

Fixed Term Commencing Term 2, 2017 – Term 4 2018 (7 terms)

Applications are invited from qualified teachers passionate about History and Social Studies to join a collaborative, supportive and fun department.  The position is a fixed term from Term 2 2017 (3 Terms) and the 2018 academic year. NZ curriculum Y9-13 and NCEA experience required. An ability to teach IB would be an advantage but is not required.

Opportunity for a leadership role in the Social Studies department is a possibility for the right candidate.
