“Leadership and learning are indispensable to each other.”

Find out what give St Cuthbert’s girls the confidence to lead.
We believe our students deserve numerous opportunities to learn the skill of leading so we provide leadership platforms in all three of our schools: Junior, Middle and Senior, as part of the Learning2Lead Programme.
Year 13 is the culmination of all previous leadership experience and every girl has the opportunity to hold a special leadership position available to only Year 13s ranging from the role of Head Girl to a position on one of our student-led committees. Year 13s also enjoy a return to Kahunui at the beginning of their final year, where they attend a special leadership camp before they take up the mantle of their new role as student leaders.
As girls progress from Year 9 an increasing number of leadership opportunities are made available to them, particularly in our Senior Academy for Year 12 and 13 students, where girls’ maturity is recognised and rewarded with more responsibilities, privileges and a uniform that designates them as leaders of the College. Details of the Senior Academy can be viewed in the brochure available to download on the right.
Our Learning2Lead programme supports the leadership journey of all St Cuthbert’s students as they progress through the College, providing responsibility at levels that are both challenging and appropriate to the age of the girls. For more information about this programme and Senior School leadership positions please download the brochure on the right.
