Students Achieve Highest Ever DELF Pass Rate

10 June 2016

This year St Cuthbert’s students have achieved their best ever results in the French language DELF exams.

A total of 63 candidates sat and passed the DELF exams, with 13 students achieving at B2 Level, the highest DELF qualification, and ones that is recommended for Year 13 or higher. Two of these students, Alexandra Briscoe and Amalia Schroeder, had incredible results as Year 12s who passed the B2 exam with flying colours.

DELF qualifications are recognised throughout the world as reliable proof of proficiency in French and holders of DELF B2 are exempt from language entrance examinations in French speaking universities.

Congratulations to all students who passed the DELF exams and to our dedicated French Department at St Cuthbert’s
