Our Values
As our students leave our green gates, they carry with them a deeply ingrained ethos of service and giving back, along with the values to support them in making a difference in the world.
Our beloved motto By Love Serve has become synonymous with what it means to be a St Cuthbert’s girl. For over a century, this simple yet powerful phrase has been the cornerstone of our College, guiding generations of students in leadership through service to others. As relevant today as it was in 1915, By Love Serve underpins everything we do at St Cuthbert’s.

At St Cuthbert’s, true education goes beyond academic excellence. It’s about nurturing the whole person – mind, body, and spirit. Our SERVICE values provide a roadmap for personal growth, ethical decision-making, and meaningful contribution to society.

Chaplaincy
As a Christian school in the Presbyterian tradition, we warmly welcome girls of all faiths and from secular backgrounds. Chaplaincy is part of school life at St Cuthbert’s and our families are warmly invited to take part in House Chapels and other celebrations. The College is supported by Reverend David Smith, and Junior School teacher Sue Porter.
