We’re the people who organise the parent events you love to attend, set up those perfectly positioned gazebos at sports day, and introduce you to a new friend at the school gate. But beyond the social magic, we’re also busy raising funds and providing practical support that directly benefits your daughter’s education and experience.

As a St Cuthbert’s parent, you are already a member of the P&F. This means you’re part of a community that not only brings parents and families together through a range of events over the course of every school year, but also directly contributes to the fundraising projects that the P&F supports.
We’d love for you to come along to a P&F Committee meeting and see for yourself how we support the school through social events, volunteer opportunities, shared experiences, and our support of fundraising initiatives that benefit our students.

Te Whāriki o Hine
Te Whāriki o Hine creates a culturally safe learning environment for students to enhance their understanding of te ao Māori. Guided by Te Tiriti o Waitangi principles and whānau support, this inclusive movement instils self-confidence, identity, and aspirations as Tangata Whenua and Tangata Tiriti. Throughout the year, we celebrate Māori culture through kapa haka, Polyfest, Matariki, and Te Wiki o Te Reo Māori.
The Asian Friendship Group
Our Asian Friendship Group is a special branch of the Parents & Friends, providing a welcoming connection point for our Asian community. This support network is a great resource for parents new to St Cuthbert’s, helping to guide parents and daughters as they settle into life at the school. There are also translated information sessions, a WeChat group and a regular Friday morning walk at Cornwall Park after school drop off – all are welcome to join!

Our Shared Kitchen
P&F proudly organised and launched the 8th edition of St Cuthbert’s community led cookbooks! Our Shared Kitchen is a beautifully crafted, premium hardbound cookbook featuring 300 stunning pages with 100 cherished recipes from our vibrant community of parents, alumni and staff members, a perfect celebration of 100 years at our Epsom Campus.

Event Snapshot
Each year, the Parents & Friends Committee supports a range of events to create memorable moments for our community while driving vital fundraising efforts to support our school.
Junior School Disco
The P&F runs a sensational disco for our Junior School (and their dancing diva parents!) With themed decorations, entertainment, and refreshments, the disco creates magical memories for families. It’s one of the most fun events to volunteer at and, of course, attend! Whether you’re helping with set-up, managing refreshments, or simply cheering from the sidelines, there’s a role for everyone.
Parent & Daughter Breakfasts
Our annual parent and daughter breakfasts create special bonding moments for families within our school community. We alternate between mother and daughter breakfasts one year and father and daughter breakfasts the next, ensuring everyone gets to be part of the fun!
Grandparents’ Day
Our precious annual Grandparents’ Day brings together grandparents, treasured friends and their granddaughters. This beloved event features morning tea, a service, and classroom visits where grandparents spend quality time with their granddaughters. This cherished tradition is a delight for both grandparents and granddaughters alike, who look forward to enjoying their special day together.
Junior School Picnic
Our annual Junior School picnic, typically held in March, is a highlight of our school calendar. This community event brings families together for an evening of fun, featuring a petting zoo, pony rides, face painting, and outdoor games. Delicious food trucks and sausage sizzle offerings add to the festivities. Thanks to our dedicated P&F volunteers and Year 13 Junior School Committee, this cherished tradition creates memorable experiences for our entire school community.
P & F Preloved Uniform Sales
Twice a year, the P&F organises a preloved uniform sale that generates significant fundraising revenue for our community while promoting sustainable practices. All proceeds are reinvested directly into the school to enhance students’ educational experiences and learning opportunities at St Cuthbert’s. P&F preloved uniform sales are typically held during seasonal uniform transitions. Uniform donations can be delivered to the Black Watch House Uniform Shop.
