2020 Academic Results
Published March 25, 2021
Our 2020 academic results were once again outstanding and we would like to congratulate all of our Senior School girls on their exceptional results. I would also like to acknowledge our wonderful teachers, who are an integral part of supporting every girl to achieve her personal best. These amazing academic results are testament to our unwavering commitment to delivering the very best education for our girls.
2020 has seen 97.5% of our Year 13 students gain University Entrance, with impressive results across both the National Certificate of Educational Achievement (NCEA) and the International Baccalaureate (IB) qualifications. Our University Entrance pass rate includes three students who gained discretionary entrance to University.
Significantly, our girls achieved 56 scholarships and seven outstanding scholarships, putting our scholarship rate per capita at the top of the country. Our IB results continue to be exceptional, with 95% of our students receiving their diploma, and our 2020 Dux, Belinda Hu, was one of only five students in New Zealand who achieved a perfect score of 45/45. Six students also received bilingual IB diplomas. Our detailed NCEA results are as follows:

At St Cuthbert’s we believe that, no matter their academic aspirations or interests, developing happy, engaged and keen learners begins with knowing each girl individually. We are committed to ensuring that every student has the academic and emotional support that she needs to achieve her best and to discover her personal strengths and passions.
I would like to take the opportunity to thank you, our wonderful parents, for everything you do for your daughter and the school; we appreciate that it is a commitment to send your daughter to St Cuthbert’s and it is a privilege to be entrusted with her education.
With warm regards
Justine Mahon
