We are extremely proud of seven of our St Cuthbert’s College students who were named finalists at the College Sport Young Sportsperson of the Year (YSPOTY) 2021 awards, with three winning their categories. There are only four finalists in each category, so for our girls to be named as one of the top athletes in their sport, really is a fantastic achievement.

Congratulations to:

  • All-rounder: Bella Browne, Chloe Browne
  • Athletics: Chloe Browne
  • Cricket: Emma Irwin
  • Distance running: Bella Browne, Chloe Browne
  • Hockey: Emma Irwin, Rose Parkinson and Brodie Cochrane
  • Orienteering: Zara Stewart
  • Waterpolo: Ella Palmer

A further massive congratulations to Brodie, Chloe and Bella who won their categories.

  • Chloe Browne for distance running.
  • Bella Browne and Chloe Browne were both recognized as top all-rounders.
