Two exceptional campuses, one remarkable journey.

Our two distinct campuses offer complementary environments where students thrive: our historic Epsom grounds provide an inspiring urban setting for daily learning and growth, while our unique Kahunui outdoor education campus in the Bay of Plenty creates transformative experiences that build independence, resilience and connection to nature. Together, they create the perfect balance for developing well-rounded young women ready to make their mark on the world.
Epsom Campus Robertson Building
One of our founding buildings, the Robertson Building leads to our beautiful Atrium, which is a major thoroughfare during the day. Students gather in breaks, whilst parents can mix and mingle over a freshly brewed coffee at our Atrium cafe. It’s a space where you are surrounded by inspiring art, and you’ll often hear music being performed.

Centennial Centre for Wellbeing
Our state-of-the-art 25 metre lap pool features a moveable floor so girls of all ages can swim in a safe environment, as well as enjoy activities such as Water Polo and Kayaking. Upstairs our modern gymnasium can be used by all girls and is home to our Athlete Pathway Programme (APP).
Sports Facilities
Sports Centre
Our well-equipped indoor gymnasium is perfect for those days when it’s just too wet to train outside and is home to Netball, Volleyball, Basketball, and Squash courts. The Sports Centre gives all girls a chance to try a huge range of Sports.
Senior Sports Courts
Our seven flood-lit Tennis and Netball courts with Rebound Ace surfacing ensure girls can get outside to practise without fear of slipping. You’ll see our school teams taking advantage of it to practice on before and after school, as well as enjoy in their PE lessons.
Sports Fields
Our sports fields are used year-round for Football, Lacrosse, Cricket, Athletics, Touch Rugby, Cross Country and more. Viewing facilities from our sports pavilion are enjoyed at school events and weekends by parents.
Hockey Turf
Our Hockey teams enjoy a purpose-built hockey turf located next to the sports field. There is plenty of room for supporters when school teams have a home game and this is also the venue for our annual ANZAC Hockey Festival, which hosts other secondary schools.
Junior Sports Courts
Our two Junior School Astroturf courts are used for Cricket, Tennis and Netball games and more. We give our younger girls the opportunity to try their hand at different sports in their own safe environment year-round with these weather-proof courts.

Performing Arts
Performing Arts Centre
Our award-winning Performing Arts Centre houses specialist teaching and rehearsal facilities for our Music, Dance, Speech and Drama departments. The rehearsal spaces provide intimate learning environments and allow all girls to experience performance first-hand from front-of-stage to backstage, giving them a taste of the arts industry.
Photographic Studio
As part of their Arts programme girls will discover photography and our dedicated Photographic Studio and processing rooms allow them to explore their creativity in this important medium beyond the snaps they’ve captured on their mobile phones!
Visual Arts Centre
Stepping inside our Visual Arts Centre is to be inspired. Girls from Years 7–13 have access to art studios in which, under the guidance of our Art Teachers, they’ll explore Design, Drawing, Painting, Print, Photography and more.
Science, Technology & Libraries
Science Labs
Across Years 5–13 Science is taught in dedicated laboratories by Senior School Science teachers to spark their love of the Sciences from an early age. We have an entire wing dedicated to Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Philosophy and girls are lucky enough to be taught by some of the most inspirational teachers in New Zealand.
Technology Labs
St Cuthbert’s recognises the importance of STEM and has invested in well-equipped dedicated Technology rooms which allow all girls to experience hands-on Technology fun. Robotics, Design and Sewing, Home Economics, Wood and Metal Crafting girls will experience it all – they even “grow” their own fabric over a year before using it to design a futuristic outfit which is proudly displayed at the end of the year.
Libraries
Our libraries are designed to foster a love of reading and provide warm welcoming learning spaces. We are so lucky to have our team of leading inspirational Librarians, who listen to every girl and match her with her next best read. We constantly invest in our amazing collection of books to ignite the girls’ curiosity.

Joan Holland Auditorium
The Joan holland Auditorium has a stage area, professional lighting system, and tiered seating, making it perfect for drama performances, guest speakers, and workshops.
Kahunui Campus
In January 2026 we will complete a significant enhancement of our Kahunui campus, made possible through the generosity of one of our families. Beginning with construction of a new Learning Hub, this stage of the development includes a welcoming pavilion, flexible learning spaces, a communal gathering room, library, and staff facilities. Looking forward, stage two will include expanded communal facilities and a staff village, further strengthening this cornerstone of the St Cuthbert’s experience.
