Service in Action

Education Outside The Classroom
Education Outside the Classroom is integral to developing confident, resilient young women who embrace challenge and discovery. Through hands-on experiences beyond traditional learning spaces, students develop essential life skills including leadership, teamwork, problem-solving and environmental awareness. These transformative opportunities push boundaries, foster independence, and create lasting memories while deepening connections to both peers and the natural world.
Digital Learning
Junior School
In the Junior School, our programme focuses on combining values, digital skills, digital citizenship, and the digital technology curriculum into a cohesive learning experience. This integrated approach ensures students develop both technical abilities and an understanding of responsible digital engagement from their earliest years. In the planning of weekly iExplore sessions, Junior School teachers collaborate to create hands-on learning experiences for the students that reinforce these important concepts.
Years 7-9
As students transition to Years 7–9, they build upon these foundations by exploring a diverse range of technological subjects including computer science, digital creativity, product design, textiles, and food and nutrition. This exploration phase allows students to discover their technological interests while continuing to develop critical problem-solving skills.
Years 10-13
Throughout their journey, our values-based approach ensures technology education develops not just technical competence, but also ethical understanding and creative application of these powerful tools.
Future Pathways
Empowering students to take ownership of their journey, with tailored support for academic choices, career pathways, and university applications

Club Evergreen
Club Evergreen, the St Cuthbert’s after school care programme, runs every afternoon of the school term. For busy parents rushing from work, collecting other children and negotiating traffic, knowing that their child is in a happy safe environment is invaluable.
Student Leadership
Through our carefully considered leadership programme across Years 1-13, we support every girl to grow as a leader through authentic opportunities that build character and impact our community.
