Houses
The House system is a proud tradition at St Cuthbert’s, fostering a strong sense of belonging, leadership and community spirit that enriches every student’s educational journey.
Our School Houses
At St Cuthbert’s, our House system lies at the heart of school life, creating a vibrant community where every student belongs. Each student joins one of eight distinguished Houses. Students transitioning from our Junior School maintain their House affiliation throughout their St Cuthbert’s journey.

Building Community
Our Houses are deeply imbedded into daily life at the College. Our dedicated Houses Coordinator champions a range of competitions and events to ensure our students have a sense of belonging and have the opportunity to make new friends and connections across year levels. From Cross Country, Swimming Sports, the Performing Arts, debating and more, there are plenty of opportunities to get involved!
Celebrating House Life
Our Houses gather twice yearly for Sunday Chapel services, bringing together students, families, and staff in celebration of community. Some of the competitions enable students to earn points House points in pursuit of the coveted House Cup presented at the end of Year Prize Giving.

2026 Athletics
At our 2026 Athletics the atmosphere was alive with energy. Students challenged themselves with a variety of different activities on offer and the House Spirit was off the charts. Great to see such team spirit on display with students cheering their friends and peers on loudly!
