The Archive was established in 1987 to collect and maintain a comprehensive historic record of the life of the College since 1915. This rich collection includes photographs, audio visual material, school magazines, uniforms, files, correspondence, building plans, oral histories and more. The purpose-built Archive Room and Collection Store opened in 1999 and is located in the Frances Compton Library, upstairs in the Information Centre. The Archivist works Monday, Tuesday and Thursday and the Archives are available as a classroom resource, as well as a helpful centre in which students can complete their research. Students and staff are welcome to visit at lunchtime, or get in touch ahead of time, to arrange an appointment at other times during the school day.
