We had a truly remarkable and memorable Old Girls’ Reunion on Saturday night, with over 300 attendees, including old girls and both current and former long-serving staff members. It was a joyous occasion, filled with laughter, reminiscing, and heartfelt connections, and we had to prise the last of the revellers out of the hall! We were honored to have the presence of honorary Old Girl, Mr. Ian Torrie, who added a special touch to the event. The night was made even more poignant as it was Ms. Justine Mahon’s final reunion as our principal, before she transitions into the role of a St Cuthbert’s Old Girl herself.
Thank you to everyone who generously made an optional donation on top of their ticket. Your contributions will go directly to providing seating in the chapel grounds. This initiative will enhance the beauty and tranquillity of our campus, creating a space for reflection and connection for current and future generations of St Cuthbert’s College community members.
Looking ahead, we are excited to announce the upcoming literary night on August 10th, which promises to be a captivating and enriching event. We invite you all to join us as we celebrate the written word and the remarkable literary talents of our old girls.
Finally, the priority of the OGA committee is to now ensure that the cherished Kahunui and Time Capsule letters find their way into the hands of our old girls. These precious mementos hold a wealth of memories, and we are committed to facilitating their safe delivery.
Once again, we extend our heartfelt appreciation to each and every one of you for making this reunion a resounding success. Your presence, contributions, and enduring connection to St Cuthbert’s College make our community strong and vibrant. We look forward to the next chapter of our Old Girls’ journey together.
