Elizabeth Parsons was recognised with a community award at the NZSS Orienteering Champs in Wellington by Orienteering NZ. Elizabeth was nominated by many people for the ONZ “Good Sport Award’ and won.
The criteria for the award was ‘A coach, manager, teacher or student who goes above and beyond, is an inspiration to your school, or sets amazing values and standards for others to aspire to’
Elizabeth received many nominations and is an incredible asset to our orienteering programme at St Cuthbert’s. Elizabeth includes all students who show an interest in the sport – whether elite or just starting and supports them in her own time to get to events and participate. We are incredibly grateful to Elizabeth for all her hard work.
