Congratulations to all our teams that competed last week in Winter Tournament Week. The girls demonstrated remarkable determination and teamwork, representing our school with pride and spirit throughout every game.
1st XI Hockey – Finished 3rd place in the Federation Cup. The girls had an exceptional week, winning all their games. In the semifinal against St Andrew’s, it was a 1-1 draw at full time, followed by a draw in penalty shoots and we went down 3-2 in sudden death penalty shoot outs. The team came back fighting on Saturday and beat Kristin 4-0 in the match for 3rd and 4th.
2nd XI Hockey – Won the Chris Arthur Cup in Ashburton. The team had a great tournament, winning all their games and having one draw against St Andrew’s College in Pool play. The team went on to beat St Andrew’s in the final 2-1.
Premier Netball – Finished 10th overall in the A grade at UNISS in Auckland. The team has really progressed playing in the Premier 1 Competition this year. This is the 1st time our Premier Netball team has placed in the top 10 at UNISS in over six years.
1st XI Football – Finished 6th overall in the Grant Jarvis Tournament in Hamilton. The team had some great games this week and really showed how much the team has improved over the season.
