We are delighted to share a short photo story from Kahunui, our second campus in the beautiful Bay of Plenty, showcasing the completion of the first stages of our exciting new campus development.
Our new Learning Hub Pavilion, classrooms, and library are now fully in use, and they are a wonderful addition to a place that already holds such a special place in the hearts of our girls.
Designed to reflect the natural environment that surrounds them, these spaces enhance the teaching and learning focus to Kahunui, further embedding practical, curriculum-connected learning in a setting unlike any other. Through inquiry and project-based social studies, journalling, nutrition, and physical activity, our girls engage with the New Zealand curriculum in ways that are hands-on, meaningful, and deeply memorable.
But Kahunui has always been about more than learning in a classroom. It is where girls discover what it means to be part of a community, contributing, looking after one another, and developing the interpersonal skills and personal wellbeing habits that will serve them throughout their lives.
Seeing the students settle into these new spaces during Term 1, growing in confidence, building deeper friendships, and thriving in every sense, has been a genuine joy.
