Huge congratulations to our first XI Hockey team for their outstanding work in winning the Federation Cup for the fourth time in 10 years. Our team is the top female hockey team across all New Zealand secondary schools – a huge achievement by a remarkable bunch of girls who showed grit, determination and teamwork throughout the tournament. We are so proud of you. It was a nail biting final last Saturday against Kristin. St Cuth’s had a strong defence to keep Kristin from scoring. Our girls came away with a 1-0 win. A fantastic way for our Year 13 girls in the team to close out their St Cuth’s Hockey chapter, thank you for your service and dedication to the team. Thanks to our amazing coaching team: 1st XI Coach Victoria Methven, Managers Nicole Brdanovic and Oliver Gibb, and Senior Hockey Manager Tori Vao. Thank you to all our dedicated parents who support the team throughout the season.
